Artist Proof

Somehow in May, a month of year-end school activities, I made an artist-proof with my paper for Chamomile on Blue II and sold the first edition print. The print was a gift of "flowers" for Mother's Day. Earlier this year, I was searching for a way to "begin again" in my new studio. Where would I start? Build a whole thing with flowers or be still, simple with one flower. I crave white space and simplicity. Chamomile on Blue is a favorite for many because of its cheerful color field and a composition designed to make you feel like flowers surround you—blue, yellow, and white colors of the sky on its sunniest day.
